Data Visualization
Data visualization is what you get when you mix data analysis with graphic design. It’s as much about interpretation as it is about presentation.
The examples below show before and after states of data we have reinterpreted for display.
Wind Power Infographic. This infographic took the data from a series of bullet lists and organized it spatially to help comprehension and avoid information overload syndrome.
This chart displays how consumers in different audience segments use the various media for obtaining information about hydrogen vehicles. The graphic allows for quick comparison of related data sets and requires minimal processing time in the viewer’s mind.
This report revealed the motivations that consumers had when purchasing vehicles, over a number of years. As separate charts, it was a taxing chore to see trends and relationships between the data. In the combined form, we were able to show a clear trend of increasing interest in energy efficiency (light blue bars) in recent years.
